Many thanks to all of the firefighters that were able to attend the Legislative Meet & Greet.

And thanks to all of the very supportive Legislators for fitting us in to their busy schedules.

2010 Montana Fire Alliance Conference

A handful of people put together the 2010 Montana Fire Alliance Conference.  As you can see from the statistics listed below, there is a lot of work that goes into putting on this conference.  Those that work on the Montana Fire Alliance conferences do so as volunteers.  They are not compensated for attending meetings, meals, mileage, etc.  If they were organizations, they would have to come up with additional funding for the lobbyist for the 2011 legislative session. As it stands the lobbyist’s contract will be paid entirely from the proceeds of the 2010 Fire Alliance.

The Montana Fire Alliance Conference goal is to raise money to pay our lobbyist.  In order to do that we have to make money.  The Montana Fire Alliance Conferences provide attendees with training, meals, banquet, access to a minimum of 20 vendors, display apparatus as well and an opportunity to network with other fire organizations, departments, firefighter’s, trainers, etc.

Those of us putting together the Montana Fire Alliance Conferences would like to thank the continued support of our vendors, trainers, participants and the community that sponsors the Fire Alliance.
